| starting ska band
I'm interested in starting a ska band. I would perform trumpet and yes I would practice more. I'd then need a singer or two, another trumpet, drummer, 2 trombones if possible, 2 guitars at most, and a bass, and then any random instruments I deem necessary. If you or you know anyone who would like to join just leave me a message on either AIM (the sole sage) or on myspace. Applicants must be from LCC or very close to. Depending on how many join we may have try outs but I doubt many will. so first come first serve. I will also look for songwriters. If you have a song u have written or sheet music u have made or even a coo solo for an instument send it to me and Ill see if we can work it into our songs. | | |
| Why are people stupid? This question has plagued our universe since the dawn of man, and just like which came first the chicken or the egg no one knows. Is it an act people put on for amusement of others or to hide somehting of themselves? Is it because people are incapable these days to not talk face to face because of online things like THIS BS or is it we have nothing worth saying? Its been made clear to me over and over that we are all cowards...me included. I'm not afraid to admit it. Everyone else seems to think they arent and when confronted with the fact that they are they get even bitchier and heartless and shoto themselves in the foot! So why do people persist to destroy themselves? Is it because they are too lazy to simply talk thier problems out with the person they have the problem with? I think its a matter of either people not knowing how to convey what they think and feel or its because they are too lazy too and believe itll go away in time if neither of them do anything! WEll I'm here to tell you all with expierence and obvious logic IT DOESNT WORK! What problem has ever gone away by merely letting it be. If anything it festers thier like a sore or gets larger by being picked at but not completely healed or fixed. If people would realize this we would be better. There are some who are out there who agree with me adn are proabably the more better people of our time. Sarah Tanaka and Sarah Long join me in this boat along with Alex Cohen and other fine people. Hopefully we can all be in the same boat. Because isnt brutual kind honesty better than growing resentment and bitterness towards a person and in time you will be left with nothing but yourself and yoru regrets... | | |
